Background
Queen Thai, also known as Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, was born on June 3, 1978, in Hat Yai, Songkla, Thailand. She is the fourth wife of King Vajiralongkorn, also known as Rama X, and has been the Queen of Thailand since May 1, 2019.
Early Life and Education
Queen Thai comes from an ethnically Hokkien Thai Chinese family. She graduated from Hatyaiwittayalai Somboonkulkanya Middle School and Assumption University with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts in 2000. Before becoming Queen, she worked as a flight attendant for Japan Airlines and Thai Airways International.
Military Service
